  • Job Functions:

    Regent Property Management Services is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing team in Phoenix. The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing and managing all payables owed for an assigned portfolio of commercial assets located in the Phoenix submarket. In addition to payables, the selected candidate will also be responsible for inputting and tracking job costing functions for capital expenditures managed by the company (a privately held real estate company/Investment Fund/Property Management Company).

  • Day-to-day work includes:
    • Responsible for receiving, scanning, and matching invoices, check requests, and expense reports to ensure they are coded to the appropriate G/L account, submitted for processing, and monitored to ensure payment is successfully processed in a timely fashion.
    • Directly correspond with vendors via phone and email.
    • Assist with month-end accruals for monthly financial reports, and monthly closings.
    • Receives and research’s internal and external inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies and responsible for working toward a speedy resolution.
    • Responsible for maintaining organized files and accurate documentation in accordance with company policy.
    • Responsible for the input, processing, and administration of construction contracts via Microsoft Excel and job costing modules which will include tracking to budget and navigating internal processes to obtain approvals and the appropriate documentation for budget changes.
    • Assist with other projects as assigned by Supervisor to meet business needs.
  • Qualifications, Requirements and Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university program preferred but not required.
    • Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, JD Edwards, or comparable ERP experience preferred but not required.
    • Experience working with Nexus, Avid, Payscan or comparable workflow program required.
    • Detail oriented as reflected in accuracy in work product.
    • Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products and MRI Real Estate Software.)
