Matthew Levy is General Counsel of Regent Properties. Matthew was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP for over three years, and thereafter, joined the Los Angeles office of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP. Matthew’s practice involved acquisitions, sales and development matters. He also has substantial experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting complex real estate joint ventures and financings. His clients included a broad range of institutional and private clients, including life insurance companies, homebuilders, developers, major domestic and foreign banks and other institutions. He has worked with many types of real estate, including residential, hotel, office, retail, industrial, multi-family and mixed-use projects. Matthew received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and was awarded his JD from UCLA, graduating Order of the Coif. Matthew is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
